When online speech therapy is delivered with a good understanding of the technology and plenty of available resources, it provides a more convenient experience with the same high-quality care. Online speech therapy can effectively treat a variety of patients with a wide range of ages and disorders.
A common misconception is that meeting via telehealth is not as interactive or personal as in-person therapy; however, teletherapy sessions have been widely studied. Research has shown it to be as effective and equivalent to in-person treatment.

Consistent attendance is the foundation for helping a client of Connected Speech Pathology make steady progress in therapy. Not showing up or canceling at the last minute for a scheduled appointment is disruptive to Connected Speech Pathology's operations. Meetings are in high demand, and advanced notice will allow another person to have an appointment. All cancellations must be submitted 24 hours before your scheduled session. A fee may be assessed if cancellations are made less than the required 24 hours or if the client fails to show up for a scheduled appointment.
-
There are no contracts. You may stop receiving services for any reason at any time, provided you give 24 hours notice for a previously scheduled appointment.
